A word from Rabbi Alex Yalenga
"God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When He says something, He will do it; when He makes a promise, He will fulfill it. Num 23:19
As we look back on 2025, we are amazed by the Lord’s goodness. It brings to mind the above Scripture. The Lord promised to spread His light into all the earth beginning from Jerusalem and touch every inhabited part of the earth with the gospel of Yeshua. He promised to aid all His servants in spreading light into this dark world. We have seen His hand in Zambia.
Despite all the hardships, the gospel has slowly been advancing throughout the world and many lives are coming to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah of Israel and of the world. And as promised by the Lord, the Lord will redeem His own from all nations and above all, all Israel shall be saved.
Keep sharing and living your faith. Whatever you do for the Great God of Israel is never wasted.
Have a good day!
2025 was an amazing year for Israel-Africa relations.
Israel-Africa relations are experiencing a resurgence, marked by growing diplomatic ties, particularly in East and Central Africa, driven by shared interests in technology, security, agriculture (agritech), and water management, with Israel gaining AU observer status in 2021. In August 2025 Israel opened her embassy in Lusaka, Zambia.
Relations have strengthened with nations like Rwanda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, and recently Zambia, with Israel opening new embassies.
Many African nations prioritize economic interests, often maintaining cooperation with Israel despite global pressures.

President Isaac Herzog hosted a delegation of imams and Muslim leaders from African nations (Senegal, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Togo) at the President's Residence in Jerusalem on
Monday, December 1, 2025, to promote peace and coexistence between Muslims and Jews, and strengthen Israel-Africa ties.
CONGREGATIONS
We are happy to report the birth of 3 new congregations among the Lemba Jews and two home groups. The Chainda congregation whose land and water well were seized by the tribal leader has since been given back their land and water well after the ousting of the previous tribal leader and installation of a new leader.
Pray that the scattered members of the congregation will now return to worship the Lord in this village again.
Kindly pray for some of our congregations which are suffering because of lacking local leadership like Chibula, Chinkuli and others that the Lord will raise local and godly leaders.

SCHOOL

Dorris who was one of our orphans at the day school is now a proud Zambian soldier.
After the hiring of new teachers and a new head of school our school has once again began to improve in test scores. We lost almost all our teachers to the Government who offered them better pay and a pension. The orphanage recorded a 98% pass rate, and the day school recorded a 78% pass rate. We hope to get back to our previous record of 100% pass rate.
According to the Zambia Daily Mail 538,824 Zambian seventh graders sat to write the national examinations and only 384,592 passed the examinations. 154,373 students failed and dropped out of school. Our day school recorded a 78% pass rate, and our orphanage recorded a 98% pass rate. We are still awaiting grade 10 and 12 results.
Several of our children have since graduated senior high school and are finding some odd jobs before going to college.
NEW EXCITING DEVELOPMENT!
Recently the Economic Development Initiative (EDI) of the Rotary Club to End Human Trafficking (RCEHT) and our Jerome Fleischer School (JFS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for EDI to teach our senior high school students entrepreneurial business skills. After graduating senior high school EDI will give the students seed money to start their own businesses. Pray for the success of this program.
Yalenga family.
Thank you for praying and supporting the Yalenga family. They are all doing well and are grateful for your ongoing support and prayers.
Bracha our fourth born daughter had a Bat Mitzvah in 2025 and we are thankful to Rabbi Jay and his wife Pam for coming to attend.
OUTREACH
As 2025 was about to close we hosted a medical outreach funded by Jewish Voice Ministries International.
We also hosted several Israeli messianic Jewish brothers and sisters who had just come from reserve duty in Gaza. What a blessing!! In addition we were joined by messianic believers from Ethiopia, the USA and Zimbabwe for the medical outreach.
Over 8000 people were treated in Mumbwa Destrict and hundreds received Yeshua as their Lord and savior.
URGENT NEEDS.
We have an acute shortage of desks at our day school. With over 400 orphans at our schools, some students are seating on the floor during class lessons. Please do partner with us to buy a desk. About $200 will buy a desk for three children and we are in need of about 50 desks.

Kindly help us get some desks for some of our school orphans who are having class on the floor.
PRAYER REQUESTS.
Pray for our Radio outreach to reach more people.
Open doors for sharing the gospel.
Salvations among the Jewish, Muslim and tribal peoples.
Peace for Israel and the world.
Thank you for all your support and prayers.
