A Crisis of Orphans.
In Africa, being an orphan can mean facing hunger, abuse, and a life without hope.
In Zambia a country of 20 million people, there are approximately 2.5 million orphans—one of the highest rates in all of Africa, second only to Zimbabwe.
The statistics are staggering:
-
Only about 600,000 Zambians are formally employed.
-
64%–69% of the population survives on less than $1.25 per day.
-
More than half of Zambian children are malnourished.
-
Over 4,600 households are headed by children as young as 12.
-
Many orphaned girls are forced into early marriage, while boys often become child laborers just to survive.
Yet, behind every statistic is a soul, a face, a life.
And when Jesus steps in, everything changes.

Our Orphanage.
We care for over 370 orphans in Zambia every year—offering more than just food or shelter.
At the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage, we provide:
-
Education that opens doors to opportunity.
-
Discipleship that builds lasting faith.
-
Mentorship that nurtures purpose.
-
And love that says, “You are not forgotten.”
Today, more than 60 of our students are in college or trade school. Our graduates have become teachers, medics, entrepreneurs, and even pilots, proving that hope truly does rise from the hardest places.
We believe every orphaned child deserves more than survival.
They deserve a future filled with hope.
And with your help, we can make that future possible.
